Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $250,000 to $350,000 per year, based on national averages for Psychiatrists in the United States.

Job Description

This role provides inpatient psychiatric care as part of a multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will direct the treatment team and develop pharmacologic and therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery.

This opportunity allows for flexible scheduling, with positions scheduled for between 30-40 weeks per calendar year. This flexibility strikes a balance between work-life balance and market compensation, while also offering benefits such as paid parental leave, retirement program, and generous paid time off.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School, completion of internship, psychiatric residency, and/or fellowship training
  • License/Certifications: Current/eligible license as a physician by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine, certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, or eligible for examination
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience inclusive of residency and/or fellowship training
  • Meet other credentialing criteria defined in Medical Staff By-laws
