Maine Medical Center is seeking a skilled and empathetic Patient Care Assistant to join our psychiatric unit. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the recovery journey of our patients.

About Us

Our hospital is set on 50 private acres in southern Maine, offering a serene and supportive environment for our patients. We pride ourselves on being a recognized leader in psychiatric treatment and recovery, with a Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval.

As a Patient Care Assistant, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care that addresses the unique needs of each individual. You will assist with daily living activities, participate in group therapy sessions, and provide emotional support to our patients.

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or Social Services preferred.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • One year of experience in a social services related field required.
