Job Description: As a Front Desk Staff member, you will perform various duties that are clerical in nature, under general supervision, exercising some discretion and making routine decisions based on existing guidelines. You will frequently interact with Providers, Nurses, and Medical Assistants.

Patient Support: Provides initial customer service to all patients, including greeting patients, scheduling and confirming patient appointments using a multi-line phone, performing data entry into the NextGen software system for patient information, and creating patient files. You will also provide conflict resolution and respond to patient grievances, create and maintain confidential patient files and records, float to other LSCC facilities as needed, and complete all other assigned duties.

Payment/Insurance Processing: Facilitates patient check-in and check-out, explains payment options, collects and posts patient payments, prepares deposits, and follows established cash handling procedures. Completes patient intakes, income screenings, and conducts insurance verifications and authorizations.

Required Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, minimum six months of experience working in a professional administrative or related capacity, proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and bilingual English/Spanish language skills are preferred.
