Business Development Executive

We are excited to announce an opening for a seasoned Commercial Lines Account Executive at APR in Hempstead, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your career in commercial lines insurance and take ownership of a diverse portfolio of accounts.
Main Responsibilities- Manage a significant portfolio of commercial lines accounts, focusing on strategic relationship-building, risk assessment, and policy optimization.
- Develop and execute targeted sales initiatives to grow revenue and expand market share in key industries.
- Negotiate and conclude complex commercial insurance deals, ensuring alignment with client needs and company goals.
- Foster collaborative relationships with internal teams, broker partners, and carrier representatives to drive business results.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in commercial lines sales, account management, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance markets, regulations, and best practices.
- Possession of CIC, CPCU, or other relevant certifications, demonstrating advanced professional standing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and negotiate effectively.
A base salary of $80,000-$100,000 reflects the high level of expertise required for this role, consistent with industry benchmarks in the region.
