Key Responsibilities of the Resident Medication Aide:
- Ensure adherence to all regulations regarding residents' rights
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing bed linens, positioning, transferring, mobility assistance, and incontinence care as required
- Support the monitoring of the medication management program
- Administer medications according to physician directives and as documented on the Medication Administration Record for all residents
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in resident care or related training
- Completion of all required training as mandated by state regulations
