As a key member of the Crescent Hotels & Resorts team, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling group business from all markets and regions. This will involve handling a portfolio of accounts, primarily focusing on group bookings of 10 to 20 room nights, while maximizing revenues for all areas of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to incoming group and catering business opportunities to ensure timely conversion into bookings.
- Ensure that all business is booked within hotel parameters, adhering to established guidelines and policies.
- Conduct hotel site inspections and client presentations to showcase the hotel's amenities and services.
- Prepare and manage contracts, as well as other related booking documentation, to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Manage and maintain client account files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Prospect for new business through sales blitzes, cold calling, and contacting former clients to solicit new business opportunities.
- Attend industry events and programs as needed to stay informed about market trends and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Detail events, including food and beverage, setup, and audio-visual requirements, to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
- Communicate client needs to all hotel departments, ensuring timely follow-through on requests.
- Utilize negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close business deals and negotiate contracts.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and hotel staff.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills to drive revenue growth and meet business objectives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
