The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced IT Delivery Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT organization, you'll be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, including SAP initiatives, new product implementation, supply chain, CRM, customer experience, and commodities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including budget management and progress reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Create and execute project work plans, revising as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Manage budgets for assigned projects and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Work with procurement, legal, and external vendors for solution assessment, selection, and SOW creation.
  • Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities, controlling project timelines and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, implementing changes as necessary to ensure compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaborate with IT Delivery, Operations, Security teams, functional business areas, and vendors.
  • Anticipate and mitigate project risks to avoid impacts to timelines and deliverables.
  • Identify, communicate, and assist teams in removing roadblocks.
  • Facilitate project team meetings and status/update meetings with project teams.
  • Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide accurate project status and decision support information to project teams and senior leadership.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 6+ years of experience in leading delivery, vendor, and business-facing projects.
  • A university degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Familiarization with project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, MS Planner, Jira, and ServiceNow.
  • Project management experience using Waterfall, Agile/Scrum/Iterative methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience and present business outcomes to technical teams.
