Senior Defense Business Development Executive

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Executive to spearhead our Defense and Intelligence division in driving growth within the U.S. Navy sector. This role involves developing and implementing strategic business development plans, shaping customer requirements, and collaborating with the technology team to deliver innovative solutions.

  • Lead the identification, qualification, and pursuit of high-value business opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximize win probability and differentiate our solutions
  • Conduct after-action reviews for continuous improvement in capture techniques and strategies
  • Develop marketing and budget plans, and conduct detailed pipeline reviews with senior leadership

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 8+ years of experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in defense business development, specifically within the U.S. Navy
  • Demonstrated success in leading opportunities from identification through proposal submission
  • Ability to identify and utilize key customer relationships and market intelligence to position the division for success
  • Secret clearance required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Top Secret/SCI eligibility preferred
