The General Manager will also maintain occupancy at or above 99% and collections at or above 98% of potential income. Furthermore, the General Manager will ensure property management software is accurate, up to date at all times, and utilized to its fullest functionality. They will establish, implement, and monitor leasing goals and lease renewal programs to meet required occupancy.

The General Manager will also conduct analysis of operating expenses to determine items and methods for expense cutting. They will oversee monthly reports, budget targets, and variance reports as needed. The General Manager will be responsible for timely submissions of all necessary paperwork for invoicing, payroll, hiring, etc.

Finally, the General Manager will implement and maintain a thorough annual marketing plan. They will work closely with the Leasing Manager and staff to ensure all potential marketing avenues are being fully utilized. The General Manager will ensure website and marketing materials are up to date and portray the property in a positive light.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or 2-5 years of experience in the student/multi-family housing industry. They will be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and Property Management software (Entrata). The candidate will have a working knowledge of market rate and LIHTC programs and Fair Housing Laws and EEO Laws.

The General Manager will be a creative and entrepreneurial individual who thrives on sharing their knowledge and creating a better future for Campus Life and Style.
