Job Title: Outside Sales Representative

At Home Depot, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving incremental sales growth and profitability through account relationships, focusing on new business development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand customer base within defined sales territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide tailored solutions.
  • Utilize Salesforce to plan sales call activity, manage customer communications, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Conduct initial customer meetings, build relationships, and sell The Home Depot value proposition to win opportunities to quote materials.
  • Prospect for new business, leveraging leads provided by internal Sales Development team and existing customer relationships.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of professional work experience, with 2 years in account management/sales management.
  • 2 plus years of home improvement or home building industry experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate globally.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills, with ability to persuade or influence others.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office programs.
Working Conditions:

Typically in a comfortable environment, with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes that cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.

Must be eighteen years of age or older, and legally permitted to work in the United States.
