Job Title: Account Management Specialist

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to join Messer as an Account Management Specialist, where you will be responsible for increasing territory profitability and revenue through in-depth understanding of your territory. As an expert in industrial sales and service, you will leverage Messer's resources and processes to differentiate the company by adding value through our unique Product Service Offerings.

Your primary responsibility will be to generate continuous profitable growth within the territory. This includes maintaining overall territory business strategy, managing existing client relationships, developing new customer relationships, and negotiating new agreements.

In addition, you will prospect from multiple sources to develop new business, including cold calls, trade shows, internal/external sources, and additional use with existing customers. You will allocate time to network, qualify, and follow up on leads, engaging Messer's industry experts to identify and create value-added solutions.

You will consistently use Messer Pro Sales Tools to qualify prospects, establish/evaluate stage, determine viability, and appropriate time investment. You will complete up-to-date opportunity roadmaps and account action plans, capture call reports, and customer data in Messer's CRM, SalesForce.com.

To be successful in this role, you must have a high level of critical and innovative thinking, questioning skills to uncover issues and create value for customers. A sense of urgency and responsiveness to take immediate action to resolve customer issues is required. You must have a demonstrated sales track record applying deep customer insight, knowledge of competitive landscape, growing revenue, prospecting, negotiation, and closing abilities.
