About the Opportunity

Join our team as an Orthopedic Accounting Specialist and contribute to the success of our organization. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for processing payments, preparing daily deposits, and balancing daily batches.

You will work closely with the Accounting and Management Team to ensure seamless operation and analyze and resolve payment discrepancies. With a strong understanding of contractual adjustments and fee schedules, you will play a critical role in maintaining our high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payments to include collections, daily batch posting, and daily/monthly close
  • Prepare daily deposits including EFT's, live checks, and manual check posting
  • Determine contracted carriers are paying according to negotiated contracted rates
  • Analyze and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Work closely with the Accounting and Management Team to ensure seamless operation

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required
  • 1+ years of experience in a medical setting preferred
  • 2+ years of recent medical payment posting and/or A/R experience
  • ICD-10 Certification a plus

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary of $58,000 per year, up to 3 weeks PTO during the first year, 7 paid holidays, medical, dental, and vision benefits, and an excellent 401k/profit sharing plan.
