Job Title: Client Service Representative

At HousePaws Mobile Veterinary Service Mount Laurel, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Client Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front desk operations, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-notch customer service to pet owners, both in person and over the phone
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, maintain accurate records, and provide estimates and invoices for payment
  • Respond with empathy and compassion in stressful and emotional situations
  • Maintain a clean, stocked, and orderly lobby and front office area
  • Educate clients on wellness plans, food, and products sold in the waiting room
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, end-of-day reports, and deposits
  • Enter data into our system, including records, client questionnaires, and referral information
  • Distribute mail and ensure referral letters and lab results are sent to the corresponding veterinarians
  • Admit patients, ensuring accurate weighing and up-to-date information
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in veterinary practice (or human medical practice) preferred
  • Proficiency in computer software, including email, word processing, and Excel
  • Experience with front desk equipment, such as fax machines, credit card machines, and postage meters
  • Basic math skills to determine deposits, make change, and process payments
  • Understanding of veterinary terminology and ability to communicate effectively with clients and the veterinary team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
