About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Account Manager to join our team at Dobbs Equipment, LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Leasing: Sell and promote our entire product line of new and used John Deere equipment and allied products to existing and potential customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to increase market share and customer loyalty.
  • Prospecting and Cold Calling: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.
  • Quote and Negotiate: Quote and negotiate prices, credit terms, and prepare contracts for customers.
  • On-Site Support: Provide on-site expertise for demonstrations, machine inspections, and technical support.
  • Database Management: Maintain a contact management database and call log for designated territory.
  • Market Awareness: Manage market awareness and provide lost sales reports.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular sales reports and analysis to management.
  • Rental Conversions: Manage and maximize rental conversions.
  • Expense Management: Manage and control sales-related expenses.
  • Training and Development: Attend training and sales meetings to stay current with new equipment and special deals.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or a minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training.
  • Experience: Valid driver's license and a minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment sales.
  • Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to self-manage and self-motivate, and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
