As a Support Services Specialist at Devereux, you will collaborate with other committed professionals who share your enthusiasm for assisting individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals while they participate in our programs.
2. Supervise, mentor, and support individuals in achieving their daily living skills, including meal preparation, household tasks, and shopping.
3. Oversee the planning, execution, and documentation of programs tailored to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of individuals.
4. Organize and engage in community-based employment, volunteer opportunities, and recreational outings for individuals.
5. Coordinate transportation for individuals to and from programs.
Work Schedule:
This position typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 4 PM.

Assist individuals with daily living activities, administer medications, adhere to established Behavioral Support Plans, maintain electronic documentation, and most importantly, support individuals in realizing their full potential.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in human services working with children, adolescents, and adults is required.

Physical Requirements:

Work is typically conducted in well-lit and ventilated areas, with some temperature fluctuations. Protective equipment may be necessary, and there is a potential for exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
