Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of financial and regulatory reports required by various regulators and government agencies.
  • Accounting Systems: Develop and implement accounting systems that comply with GAAP, tax, and bank regulatory requirements.
  • Audit and Compliance: Assist in the coordination and preparation for audits/reviews by external auditors/regulators, including assistance with all related tax filings.
  • Team Leadership: Issue written and oral instructions regarding accounting-related procedures to both the accounting team and other departments where activities directly affect accounting functions.
  • Project Management: Assist in departmental projects such as annual budget process and branch profitability report.
  • Process Improvement: Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably with CPA and banking experience.
  • Skills: Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively as a team and independently, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
