PRC Resources is seeking a skilled Construction Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for materials and equipment required for facility and pipeline construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of pricing for bids by researching and obtaining quotes from suppliers and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions to secure the best value for the company.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to procure the necessary materials and equipment for project execution, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services in line with project schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to maintain optimal stock levels, implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures to minimize shortages and excess.
  • Assist in the preparation and administration of purchase orders and contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and resolving any discrepancies or issues with suppliers.
  • Track and manage procurement expenses to ensure alignment with project budgets, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including quotes, purchase orders, and contracts, preparing reports and providing insights on procurement performance to support decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven track record in procurement or purchasing within the oil and gas or infrastructure construction industry, with demonstrated experience with pricing for bids and managing procurement for large-scale projects.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite, and excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
