About the Role

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Outstanding Patient Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage Patient Scheduling and Registration: Schedule appointments, complete patient registration, and collect patient payments in a efficient and accurate manner.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care and administrative processes.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic and insurance information.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and administrative processes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2+ Years of Experience: 2+ years of experience in a patient service representative or medical office coordinator role is preferred.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively interact with patients, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders.
