Overview

Dignity Health Medical Group is a leading employed physician group in Arizona, comprising approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff across various specialties.

The group has achieved significant success, offering over 73 subspecialty services, and its physicians provide clinical services in their areas of expertise, while also participating in academic research and leadership roles.

The medical group is heavily involved in preparing the next generation of healthcare providers, with 84 medical school students and around 200 residents and fellows across 25 academic programs.

Clinical services are complemented by translational and bench research to enhance medical education for residents and students, aligning with Dignity Health's mission and St. Joseph's guiding principles.

As part of the Dignity Health hospital system, the group has full access to staff and facilities on hospital campuses, enabling the provision of state-of-the-art patient services, including care for the poor and disenfranchised.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY - Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients under the supervision of a Physician, with a focus on assisting Orthopedic Surgeons in the Operating Room.

Qualifications

  • Physician Assistant degree
  • 3 years of clinical experience in a related field
  • Certification as a Physician Assistant from the Arizona Joint Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant certification
  • Valid DEA registration
