Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Care Assistant to join our team at The Center for Orthopedic and Research Excellence. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clinical staff in the Pre-Op and PACU areas by facilitating patient flow and ensuring a smooth transition of care.
  • Transport patient belongings and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Stock supplies and maintain equipment in Pre-Op and PACU.
  • Assist patients with personal needs and provide emotional support.
  • Collaborate with the charge nurse to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum two years of nursing assistant experience.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Unlicensed Certified Nursing Assistant (UCNA) in the state of Arizona.
