Position Overview

We are seeking a Facilities Specialist II to contribute to our mission. The Facilities Specialist II is responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and closing maintenance work orders within the system as required. This role includes ordering and tracking appliance purchases, warranty details, replacement orders, servicing appointments, and parts procurement, ensuring accurate documentation such as brand, model, serial numbers, and purchase dates.

The Facilities Specialist II will create building profiles and asset locations in the system while managing access for appropriate staff members, including Administrators and Resident Managers. Additionally, they will coordinate responses to after-hours emergency calls as necessary.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Full Time, Day)

Compensation:

$24.00 per hour based on experience and credentials.

Additional 5% Language Differential available for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English preferred).

Qualifications:

  • Required: High school diploma (or GED Equivalent)
  • Required: 1-2 years of experience in property/facility management or real estate office settings, or a satisfactory equivalent combination of relevant experience, training, and/or higher education.

Driving is a critical function of this role. Successful candidates must possess a valid Oregon driver's license, maintain a safe driving record, and be able to pass a DHS criminal background check.

Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to frequently sit, talk, listen, and use hands and fingers. It may also require occasional walking, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping, squatting/kneeling, using basic tools, and performing other physical tasks, including minimal cleaning tasks. The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds is also necessary. Reasonable accommodations can be made.
