We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team at MSO North TX Surgical Oncology.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care. Our ideal candidate is passionate about the patient experience and has excellent communication skills.
About the Role- Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments, including preparation and maintenance of supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization
- Give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy
- Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals
- Answer telephone calls to the practice and screen for referrals
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program
- OR twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting
- OR current Medical Assistant certification
