Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. is a well-established firm specializing in a wide array of services including design/build, general contracting, and construction oversight. Our capabilities encompass site preparation, concrete work, carpentry, and select finishing trades.

We are currently seeking a Construction Site Manager to oversee various projects from our operational base. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of assignments within the realms of design/build, general contracting, and construction oversight.
Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in preconstruction planning, conduct constructability assessments, and perform risk evaluations.
  • Proactively identify challenges and implement strategic solutions with minimal oversight while ensuring adherence to construction codes and safety regulations.
  • Maintain project timelines and assist in cost management, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Lead a diverse team of internal and external personnel, including subcontractors, and act as a liaison between field engineering and laborers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure that all onsite activities are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and meet our quality standards.
  • Guide field personnel to ensure project completion aligns with the established timeline, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Assist in developing work schedules, assessing manpower needs, material quantities, and equipment requirements, and oversee the completion of final tasks.
  • Promote a culture of safety on the job site and encourage adherence to safe work practices.
  • Monitor work performance and productivity to ensure compliance with specifications, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Advise project managers and executives of potential issues, work disruptions, and scheduling challenges; assist in problem resolution as necessary.
  • Conduct daily inspections of project sites to ensure safety and compliance with health standards.
  • Participate in all preparatory and initial quality control meetings.
  • Generate daily reports on safety activities and other assigned reporting duties.
  • Maintain a positive work environment through effective communication and collaboration with clients, colleagues, supervisors, and management.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in construction management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience managing onsite construction activities.
  • Proven experience in collaborating and communicating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, hands-on individual capable of working independently.
  • Ability to quickly grasp various policies, procedures, and software applications.
  • Skilled in identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with a focus on completing tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills to keep projects on track and within schedule.
  • High integrity and strong relationship-building capabilities.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring flexibility, including bending, kneeling, climbing, or reaching.
  • Excellent agility to navigate construction sites safely, including uneven surfaces and potential hazards.
  • Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 100 pounds.
  • Proficient in the safe and effective use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to adapt to varying weather conditions and exposure to loud environments.
