Senior Safety Officer

Job Summary:

Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Site Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our subcontractors and employees on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and programs to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
  • Provide training and orientation to subcontractors, visitors, and authorized personnel on site safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near-miss events, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of safety activities, incidents, and investigations in Procore.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Health & Safety Officer to report safety statistics and trends, and implement improvements to our safety program.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of consecutive construction safety management experience.
  • Documented 8 hours of continuing education completed every year for the past 5 years.
  • OSHA 30 certification (can be obtained during onboarding).
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • USACE (Army Corps of Engineers) experience.
  • Strong understanding and ability to use computer technology, including Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medical construction experience.
  • USACE EM hr. Fall Protection class (can be obtained after onboarding).
  • Procore experience.
  • Experience with budgets of $1 million.

Compensation: $110,000-135,000
