Job Summary:

Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our subcontractors and employees on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, including activity hazard analysis and deficiency action plans.
  • Provide onsite indoctrination, orientation, and weekly safety talks for subcontractors, visitors, and authorized entrance staff.
  • Administer the OSHA 300 Log and report activities, findings, incidents, and investigations to the Corporate Health & Safety Officer.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Health & Safety Officer to ensure effective site safety programs and reporting.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of consecutive construction safety management experience.
  • Documented 8 hours of continuing education completed every year for the past 5 years.
  • OSHA 30 certification (can be obtained during onboarding, must be completed within the past 3 years).
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • USACE (Army Corps of Engineers) experience.
  • Understanding and ability to use computer technology.
  • Microsoft Office.

Nice to Have:

  • Medical construction experience.
  • USACE EM hr. Fall Protection class (can be obtained after onboarding).
  • Procore experience.
  • Experience with budgets of $ million is desirable.
