Creative Marketing Strategist

Job Summary
Furnitureland South, a leading furniture retailer, is seeking a highly creative and strategic-minded individual to lead our marketing team as a Creative Marketing Manager. This role is pivotal in driving the brand's creative direction and ensuring cohesive and innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with our diverse customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Strategy Development: Develop and implement creative marketing strategies that align with Furnitureland South's brand objectives and drive customer engagement.
- Campaign Conceptualization: Lead the conceptualization, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, print, etc.).
- Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation of compelling and persuasive content for marketing materials, including advertisements, product descriptions, blog posts, social media posts, and website content.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure consistency in brand messaging, voice, and visual identity across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
- Collaboration and Team Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, merchandising, and digital marketing to align creative efforts with overall business goals, and lead and inspire a team of creative professionals.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to inform creative strategies and keep Furnitureland South at the forefront of innovation.
- Budget Management and Optimization: Manage and optimize budgets for creative projects and campaigns to maximize ROI and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Analytics and Performance Tracking: Use data-driven insights to track campaign performance, analyze results, and optimize future marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in marketing or related field from an accredited University and three to five years of Marketing/Creative marketing experience
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Understanding of CMS platforms
- Experienced in managing multiple projects from concept to delivery
- Strong understanding of marketing principles
- Seasoned ability to creatively derive insights from multiple sources
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, graphic design, or a related field of study with a minor in a field of business
- 1-2 years agency experience
Work Environment
This role operates on our Jamestown campus with 0-5% travel. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
