About the Role

Liberty Mutual is seeking a highly skilled Senior Scrum Master and Program Manager to lead critical programs in delivering technology solutions that drive profitable growth across our distribution channels. As a key member of our Distribution Technology team, you will be responsible for guiding the coordination, synchronization, and alignment of a team of teams to deliver value across major programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define domain-level program management governance and practices to ensure consistent and effective delivery of technology solutions.
  • Lead major programs within the Distribution domain and with partner domains to deliver solutions that drive profitable growth for US retail markets.
  • Partner with domain leadership to identify risks, issues, and dependencies and work to identify mitigation strategies that minimize impact to delivery.
  • Aggregate domain team objectives and key results to ensure visibility and transparency for the entire team.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among teams and stakeholders at domain-level events to ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Use assessment models and indicators to gauge the health and effectiveness of the team of teams.
  • Drive the usage of data and metrics to measure and optimize the effectiveness of both program delivery and engineering excellence.
  • Guide continuous improvement efforts to enhance delivery and effectiveness.
  • Provide coaching and consulting to portfolio team leaders on good practices to accelerate maturity and remove organizational barriers to agility.
Requirements
  • Experience with large-scale technology program management and a proven track record of delivery excellence.
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team-building skills.
  • Advanced presentation skills and the ability to influence through effective communications.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline and at least eight, typically ten or more years of related experience as a project team member, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies, and objectives.
  • Understanding of agile methodology concepts and how to apply program management disciplines to an agile delivery model.
