Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Material Control Specialist to join our team at Dansources Technical Services. As a Material Control Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing the movement of material from receipt in the warehouse to production.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules

• Plan and manage material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams

• Ensure accurate and timely inventory management

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material flow issues


Requirements

• U.S. Citizen

• Prior relevant work experience

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Ability to manage multiple activities in parallel

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to prioritize work and meet strict deadlines

• Attention to detail is critical

• Ability to work through issues with all levels of team members

• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel

• Ability to lift 50 pounds, to stand for prolonged periods, and to climb ladders to pull inventory from shelves


Desirable Skills

• Experience in a hardware production environment

• Familiarity with MRP systems, preferably Costpoint

• Foundational understanding of ISO, Quality Assurance, and Configuration Management practices

• Proactive approach to solving problems

• Understanding of Electrostatic Display (ESD), and materials protection
