Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of materials in our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and store materials in a warehouse or storage facility in an organized manner and convenient location for removal when needed.
  • Mark or tag articles as necessary for identification purposes.
  • Retrieve stored material when requested, transport it to the requester, and return material to storage as required.
  • Develop and maintain effective warehouse storage practices that promote efficient storage, identification, and retrieval.
  • Maintain warehouse and shipping records and may use automated warehouse management system.
  • May operate hand and power equipment, including forklift, for material handling.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
Requirements
  • Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of related warehouse experience.
  • Active Secret clearance or the ability and willingness to obtain one.
