Position Overview

Animal Emergency and Specialty Center of Chattanooga stands as the premier provider of urgent and specialized veterinary care in East Tennessee. Our dedicated team is committed to delivering advanced veterinary services, including 24-hour Emergency and Critical Care, Surgical Procedures, Oncology, and Internal Medicine. We are seeking a Veterinary Client Services Coordinator to join our team. This full-time role requires availability for weekend and evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the admission and discharge processes for patients.
  • Assist with patient care tasks such as walking, cleaning, bathing, feeding, and monitoring as directed by the veterinarian and/or technical staff.
  • Handle basic client service responsibilities including answering phone calls, checking patients in and out, and scheduling appointments.
  • Engage in discussions regarding financial options with clients and provide updates throughout the hospitalization process.
  • Deliver effective client communication to enhance client confidence and understanding.
  • Manage client conflicts with professionalism and empathy, ensuring exemplary client service.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and maintain focus.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the organization.
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary environment as a client service representative or veterinary assistant/technician, particularly in an emergency setting.
  • Experience with laboratory sample handling is a plus.
