Position Overview:
The Financial Operations Supervisor serves as a key support figure for both the Plant Accounting and Management Teams.

This role will be pivotal in providing analytical insights to the leadership team, facilitating decisions that significantly influence business performance and outcomes.

The position aids in the month-end closing process and special projects as needed, collaborating closely with manufacturing to identify issues and their effects on financial results while educating departments on cost drivers and variances.

This role will also involve accounting support through the review and validation of material transactions and processes to enhance the accuracy of our financial reports.

This is an on-site position.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Controller in implementing and applying cost accounting policies and procedures in compliance with GAAP.
Prepare various financial statements and reports.
Support the Controller's initiatives to establish and uphold internal controls at the plant.
Prepare assigned daily and monthly journal entries.
Analyze current and historical trends in key performance indicators across all plant areas.

Assist in the local plant budgeting process for operational expenses and COGS, as well as maintaining Actual vs. Trend analysis of BOM Standards.

Assist in preparing actual vs. budget results for monthly and quarterly presentations.
Support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Qualifications:

SAP experience is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
Proactive and action-oriented.
A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Travel Requirements:
This position does not require travel.

Work Environment:
General office setting within a manufacturing facility.

Internal Communication:
Regular communication with the Controller and Plant Financial Analyst.

External Communication:
Occasional interaction with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
