Mobile Ambulatory Care Licensed Vocational Nurse

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in various clinical initiatives aimed at achieving quality outcomes and performance metrics.
- Provide coaching and guidance to staff, administering necessary disciplinary actions promptly.
- Maintain effective communication with the interdisciplinary care team and support services, including Physicians, PSRs, and Medical Assistants.
- Ensure that subordinate staff complete documentation according to departmental standards, including patient history.
- Adhere to Policies and Procedures to guarantee positive patient outcomes.
- Oversee clinic workflow to enhance productivity and efficiency, including managing lunch breaks, ensuring exam rooms are prepared, and ordering necessary supplies.
- Ensure compliance with TJC, DHS, CHDP, and Medi-Cal Managed Care standards.
- Conduct Waive Testing and Phlebotomy as appropriate, following completion of required training.
- Facilitate timely new hire and annual training for staff.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an ambulatory care environment or a similar setting is preferred.
- Current certification in CPR (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, or Advanced Resuscitation Training.
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to travel as necessary within the designated service area.
