About the Role

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Flaget Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the efficient operation of our facility.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine mammography procedures using X-ray equipment to produce high-quality digital images of designated areas.
  • Assist radiologists with guidance on needle procedures and provide support as needed.
  • Obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files.
  • Clean and perform quality control tasks during shifts to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Possess and maintain certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Mammography (M).
  • State of Kentucky License required.
  • BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in mammography preferred but not essential for all positions.
