Key Responsibilities
  • IEP and IFSP Goals: Ensure the maintenance and progression of individualized education and family service plan objectives.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver targeted therapy to children aged birth to five within a structured educational setting.
  • Documentation: Accurately document interventions post-session in accordance with program requirements.
  • Progress Reporting: Prepare and submit progress reports as mandated by educational and intervention systems.
  • Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess eligibility for services, employing both standardized assessments and structured observations.
  • Treatment Planning: Identify concerns, set goals, and formulate effective treatment strategies for each child.
  • Collaboration: Foster positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and families, ensuring respectful and responsive interactions.
  • Adaptability: Exhibit flexibility in adapting to new personnel, processes, and circumstances.
  • Professional Development: Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions, contributing to team learning.

Qualifications
  • New York State License in Physical Therapy.
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience in pediatric therapy.
