Monitor Technician Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Monitor Technician Supervisor to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Monitor Technician Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with telemetry standards and maintaining a working knowledge of policies and procedures. You will provide department-based leadership, engage staff, and promote continuing education. You will also identify problems, offer solutions, and participate in their resolution.
Responsibilities- Develop, coordinate, and implement staffing plans to ensure adequate department coverage.
- Evaluate retrospective, current, and prospective department productivity and adjust to reach targeted levels.
- Interview, train, and evaluate staff.
- Collaborate with education services to facilitate orientation initiatives and provide preceptor education and support.
- Coach, mentor, and support staff.
- Participate in hiring, evaluation, initiating corrective action, and terminating employees as needed.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Strong telemetry skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Leadership skills and a proven track record of success as a monitor technician.
Clinical setting - Exposure Class I - Routine or potential exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions, or secretions.
Physical DemandsSedentary work - Sit for extended periods of time, light physical work, vision, and physical dexterity adequate to accurately do role.

Supervised byDepartment Manager and Director.
Pay Range$20.20-$29.30.
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
