This role is for a Certified Medical Assistant within a specialized Cardiology Practice featuring two providers. A minimum of two years of relevant experience is essential, with a preference for candidates who have worked in a cardiovascular environment. The position requires availability for a standard shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:- Triage Patients: Conduct initial assessments including vital signs and medication lists.
- Device Management: Assist with patient device setups such as Loop Monitors, Holters, BP take-home monitors, and Home Sleep Studies, along with generating report printouts.
- Medication Administration: Process and manage medication changes as directed.
- Nursing Duties: Conduct nursing visits as required.
- Front Desk Support: Provide assistance with front desk operations including answering phones, managing check-ins and check-outs, scanning documents, and preparing charts.
- Supply Management: Ensure exam room supplies are adequately stocked and maintained.
- Patient Communication: Handle patient callbacks and acquire necessary patient records.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned.
