Position Overview

The Easterseals Blake Foundation has evolved from its origins as the Cerebral Palsy Foundation of Southern Arizona into a leading provider of comprehensive behavioral health services, child welfare, and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Role Summary: The Clinical Supervisor is a licensed Behavioral Health professional recognized by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. This pivotal role involves overseeing the Blake Behavioral Health program, ensuring the effective training and supervision of Behavioral Health Clinicians and other staff who deliver clinical services to children aged birth to 17, their families, and adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards in the delivery of clinical services.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor clinical staff, including Behavioral Health Professionals (BHP) and Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT).
  • Provide regular administrative, clinical, and reflective supervision to BHPs and BHTs, both individually and in group settings.
  • Monitor the quality of clinical work and offer constructive feedback through audits and supervision.
  • Conduct assessments and clinical evaluations for children and families facing complex mental health challenges.
  • Facilitate collaboration and service coordination with community partners.
  • Manage clinical services for children and families referred to the Blake Behavioral Health program.
  • Participate in required training sessions as per contractual obligations.
  • Lead staff meetings to share information, provide oversight, and present case studies.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions as needed.
  • Maintain adherence to the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners' requirements.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of client and staff information.
  • Engage in management team activities and uphold all program, operational, and personnel policies.
  • Screen, evaluate, and schedule members referred for behavioral health services.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to create and monitor member service plans and assessments.
  • Assist members in accessing necessary behavioral health services.
  • Oversee or conduct annual assessments and treatment plan development as required.
  • Provide individual, family, and/or group counseling based on the needs identified by the Clinical Director.
  • Coordinate with the treatment team and facilitate meetings to review progress and service appropriateness.
  • Attend and contribute to all professional meetings and clinical staffing sessions.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of member records in line with agency and funding source requirements.
  • Implement crisis intervention and solution-focused strategies, including risk assessments.
  • Contribute to ongoing program planning and development.
  • Deliver services in a culturally competent manner.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and AHCCCS regulations.
  • Facilitate or participate in skills training as directed.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology).
  • Licensed as a Behavioral Health Professional by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.

Experience:

  • Preferred experience in providing therapeutic services to young children and their families.
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Regulatory Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and obtain an AZ DPS Level 1 fingerprint clearance card.
  • Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets agency standards.
