Program Manager for Technical Initiatives - Gen AI

  • Engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, engineers, architects, business units, and shared services.
  • Spearheading technology standardization efforts to optimize tools and technologies that align with business requirements.
  • Assisting in the development of a backlog for reusable services and facilitating execution activities.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with various product teams to identify reuse opportunities and advocate for the adoption of reusable services.
  • Establishing an effective lifecycle process for enterprise reusable services and technology standards, while innovating to achieve more with fewer resources.
  • Supporting the documentation and presentation of information for technical, business, and leadership audiences to promote reusable services and uphold technology standards.
  • Leading planning activities for the enterprise reusable services group, focusing on goals, key results, and performance indicators.
  • Aiding in change management initiatives for the team and beyond.
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of workflows and automations utilizing low-code platforms.
  • Overseeing the financial aspects of the technology standards and reusable services team, including annual budgeting and ongoing financial planning.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process enhancement opportunities and driving operational efficiency within the program.
  • Performing additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing software development teams across various programming languages and technologies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across different organizational levels.
  • Strong grasp of software development methodologies and architectural principles.
  • A solid decade of experience in application development, particularly with Java/.Net, in roles such as developer, technical lead, or architect.
  • Experience in managing teams or programs that utilize microservices and event-driven architecture.
  • Extensive experience in overseeing REST API development and onboarding various internal and external consumers.
  • Significant familiarity with cloud technologies and concepts, preferably Azure.
  • Excellent project management capabilities, including the ability to create and manage program plans, budgets, and resources efficiently.
  • Strong leadership and influencing abilities, with a talent for driving consensus and managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Capacity to identify and comprehend technical dependencies among initiatives.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work or military experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a technical program management or development management role.
  • At least 10 years of experience in technology leadership positions (Direct/Indirect).
  • Experience in the financial services sector is preferred.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors is preferred.
