Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for examinations and treatments by accurately recording vital signs and relevant health information; report any significant changes in patient condition to the healthcare provider.
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations and minor procedures, which may include taking vital signs, performing phlebotomies, and conducting EKGs, while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Manage patient care logistics, including scheduling appointments, processing referrals, and communicating test results to patients.
  • Provide administrative support, ensuring accurate documentation of medical records and billing information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, following proper sterilization and safety procedures.
  • Order and manage medical supplies, ensuring readiness for patient care.
  • Develop effective communication channels with both internal and external stakeholders, promoting a service-oriented approach.
  • Participate in onboarding and training activities as required.
  • Work under the direct supervision of healthcare providers, collaborating with various departments to support patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with completion of an accredited medical assistant training program.

Certification as a Medical Assistant is mandatory, along with BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in medical office procedures and familiarity with insurance and electronic medical records is advantageous.
