Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and professional Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Phoenix Heart, PLLC. As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to patients with a wide range of cardiology and heart failure conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform physical exams and patient observations to diagnose and manage cardiology and heart failure conditions.
  • Record patients' medical histories and symptoms to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Create and contribute to patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
  • Monitor and operate medical equipment to ensure patient safety.
  • Diagnose health issues and administer medicine and other treatments as needed.
  • Detect changes in patients' health and modify treatment plans accordingly.
  • Consult with healthcare professionals and families to provide comprehensive care.
  • Train patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in a relevant field.
  • Licensure in the state where employed or a compact party state and board-certified.
  • APN authorization in the state where employed to practice in family health by the Board of Nurse Examiners.
  • Prescriptive authorization.
  • Experience providing primary care as a nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Proficiency with medical instruments and equipment required to perform your work.
  • Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology.
  • A sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of disease prevention.
