Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist for our Early Intervention program, you will be responsible for providing evaluations, assessments, and ongoing therapy for children birth to three years of age. You will work collaboratively with families, medical providers, and other community representatives to develop and implement individualized plans that promote the child's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the child's strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote the child's growth and development
  • Provide ongoing therapy sessions in the child's natural environment, such as their home or daycare
  • Collaborate with families, medical providers, and other community representatives to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to the child's care
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss the child's progress and develop strategies for continued growth and development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working with children with developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of AzEIP standards of practice for Early Interventionists
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
