Tact Staff is actively seeking a travel nurse RN for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to fulfill a travel nursing role.

Position Overview & Requirements
  • Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
  • Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours
  • Employment Type: Travel

Essential Qualifications:
Minimum Experience: 2 years
Traveler Experience: Previous travel experience required (no first-time travelers)
Local Candidates: Accepted with rate differences
Skills Required: Vents, IV Start, PA Lines, Telemetry.
Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH.

Preferred Qualifications:
CCRN and PALS certifications.

Job Details:
  • Patient Ratios: 1:2-3, subject to unit needs.
  • Shift Type: 12HR NIGHTS.
  • Contract Flexibility: Week contracts accepted.

Additional Information:
RTO: Maximum of 7 days (preferably no more than 3 days)
Float Requirement: Mandatory floating to Med Surg and other units as needed.
Weekend Commitment: Every other weekend.

Patient Care Focus:

Care for medical and surgical intermediate and critical care level patients.

Unit Systems:

Utilization of Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR for medication, documentation, and communication.

Scheduling:

Unit leadership will determine scheduling based on needs.

Orientation:

12 hours of unit orientation, with hospital orientation in the first week; availability for daily classes is required.

Uniform:

Scrubs in navy blue, white, or a combination of both.
