Position Overview: Tact Staff is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for an exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be expected to adhere to strict scheduling guidelines, with no room for changes post-booking. Any cancellations or additional time-off requests could result in potential job cancellations.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior travel nursing experience being mandatory. Local candidates are welcome, but there may be a rate adjustment. Essential skills include proficiency in ventilators, IV initiation, PA lines, and telemetry. Certifications required include ACLS, BCLS, and NIH, while CCRN and PALS certifications are preferred.
Patient Care: The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with medical and surgical intermediate and critical care needs, with target patient ratios of 1:2-3, subject to unit demands.
Work Environment: The role requires floating to different units as necessary, including Med Surg, and may involve additional floating during crisis situations. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.
Unit Systems: Familiarity with Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR documentation systems is essential.
Orientation: A comprehensive 12-hour hospital orientation will be provided in the first week, with daily classes required for the traveler.
Uniform: Scrubs in navy blue, white, or a combination of both are expected.
