About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Operations Coordinator to join our team at Houston Methodist Hospital. This role is responsible for coordinating complex patient services, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling of exams, tests, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with physicians, patients, and healthcare teams to schedule appointments and ensure seamless patient care.
  • Manage patient records, update demographic and insurance information in EHR systems, and verify insurance coverage.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and caregivers to provide clear instructions, answer questions, and resolve concerns.
  • Serve as a resource and trainer for new staff members, providing guidance on clinical operations and EHR systems.

Requirements

  • Four years of experience in a medical setting or call center environment, with two years of medical scheduling experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English, with ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of mid-level registration/access functions, insurance procedures, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
