Clinical Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Operations Specialist to join our team at Nexus Health Systems. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth coordination of clinical objectives for patient referrals.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Manager, Care Coordination and be responsible for supporting the coordination of clinical objectives for patient referrals. The ideal candidate will have financial and clinical accountability over Nexus Health Systems referral protocols and work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical departments to meet organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain utmost confidentiality at all times
- Adhere to health system policies and procedures
- Responsible for promoting adherence to applicable State/Federal laws and regulations and program requirements of accreditation agencies and Federal/State and private health plans in requests for third-party reimbursement
- Provide support to the team of Care Coordinators and Utilization Review Nurses
- Develop departmental reports and distribute to stakeholders as needed
- Associate's degree in nursing (RN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Two years of healthcare experience within a clinical review setting
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) preferred
$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
