Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides essential nursing care to patients in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols. This role involves the development, implementation, and assessment of patient care plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and educational needs.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and skills to provide high-quality care in alignment with current best practices.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients throughout their care journey.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Possession of a valid RN license in accordance with state regulations.
- Preferred experience includes a minimum of two years in Emergency Services or three to five years in other acute care settings.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) certifications are required within one year of hire.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing is preferred.
- Completion of orientation and training as per organizational policies.
