Registered Nurse Graduate

Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in alignment with the Maryland Nurse Practice Act and established standards of practice. The RN is responsible for developing, implementing, evaluating, and adjusting care plans tailored to the physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs of patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify changes that may impede recovery.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain clinical competencies and stay updated with current nursing practices to enhance patient care delivery.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Possession of a current RN license from the Maryland Board of Nursing or a Compact State.
- Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Services or 3-5 years in other acute care settings.
- BLS certification is required; ACLS certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
- PALS and Hazmat certifications are required within one year of hire.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing is preferred.
- Completion of orientation as per organizational policies and procedures.

The Emergency Department at LifeBridge Health features a modern facility designed to enhance emergency care delivery. The department includes spacious treatment rooms, a collaborative workspace for healthcare providers, and specialized areas for patients requiring isolation or behavioral health support.
