Registered Nurse Graduate

Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering nursing care to patients in accordance with the Maryland Nurse Practice Act and established Standards of Practice. This role involves developing, implementing, and assessing care plans tailored to the physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs of patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify any changes that may affect recovery.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams, including physicians and other specialists, to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and competencies to provide care that meets current standards.
- Ensure a safe environment for patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure with the Maryland Board of Nursing or a Compact State.
- Preferred experience includes a minimum of 2 years in Emergency Services or 3-5 years in other acute care settings.
- BLS certification is required; ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- PALS and Hazmat certifications are expected within one year of hire.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing is preferred.
- Completion of orientation as per organizational policies and procedures.
