Seeking a Strategic Grantmaking Professional to support the growth of our foundation's programming, grantmaking, and strategy.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or commensurate experience. With a minimum experience of seven years in nonprofit, public, or philanthropic sectors, you will be responsible for overseeing workflows in all grantmaking processes, developing authentic relationships with community partners, grantee organizations, peer funders, convening stakeholders, forming strategic partnerships, recommending proactive investment in systems change within our funding priorities.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the Executive Director in the development and growth of the foundation's programming, grantmaking, and strategy
  • Oversee workflows in all grantmaking processes, including but not limited to managing inbound grant inquiries from nonprofit organizations, reviewing applications, budgets, and making recommendations to our Board of Directors
  • Develop authentic relationships with community partners, grantee organizations, peer funders, and stakeholders
  • Convene stakeholders, form strategic partnerships, recommend proactive investment in systems change within our funding priorities

You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively interact and communicate with others, strong organizational, time management, and workload prioritizing skills, excellent conceptual and analytical skills, ability to research and analyze data and information, proficiency with MS Office products preferred, ability to organize, facilitate, and manage projects and meetings in an efficient and effective manner.
