We are seeking a qualified Electrical Project Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for overseeing electrical projects, particularly those involving conveyor systems in material handling. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of electrical expertise and project management skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation specifications with precision.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in machinery, including motors and scanners.
  • Oversee the assembly and wiring of power cabinets, ensuring high standards of quality.
  • Plan and implement wiring layouts, adhering to electrical schematics and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Codes (NEC) throughout all projects.
  • Lead project teams, managing timelines and budgets to achieve project goals.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and challenges.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product designs are accurately executed.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in project management.
  • Manage the workflow of electrical staff, ensuring efficient task completion.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's degree or higher in Engineering, Business, or relevant electrical trade certifications.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management within a manufacturing context.
  • Proficient in reading ANSI industrial wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with MRP systems and advanced Microsoft Office applications.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
